Very convenient location for the train station and tourist bus. A distance to old Bologna but as we had two day hop on hop off bus ticket that was fine. A nice breakfast. Consistent WiFi. The reception staff seemed inexperienced, rushed and unable to understand requests. We should have had slippers and a kettle. These were requested although one pair of slippers at first which was surprising as there were two of us. A comfortable bed. Disappointing that their plumber had to fix our toilet which stopped flushing. Had a temporary fix first and then the following day was permanently sorted. The fire alarm went off and I rang reception to see what was happening and no one answered. We used the fire exit to walk down to reception only to find no information as reception didn’t know what had happened. We were very shocked that there was nobody on each floor reassuring guests. The room was very clean. We certainly wouldn’t consider staying here again. Customer service poor.
