Hotel Elite

As already written, I did half board at the hotel èlite, where I found the staff truly exceptional, ready for my every need. What can I say about Residence Promenade, fabulous, nothing to say, wonderful and I highly recommend it, the only flaw is the person who manages the Residence, always grumpy, with their back turned to the door, when someone enters or leaves, they don't even turn around to say hello, what can I say, for me it is a sign of great rudeness, this is my opinion. This does not change my mind about returning next year because I had a really good time. The only advice I want to give regarding the residence, for a person like me, who arrives at 11:00 AM and has to wait until 4:00 PM to take possession of the apartment is really excessive, because if the people who were there before me left by 10:00 AM, taking six hours to clean an apartment is really a lot, from my 25 years of experience coming to vacation in Cattolica and always in residences, at the latest they have given me the apartment by 1:00 PM, I sincerely hope that it can be like this next year, or in some way to give those who have to stay at the residence an opportunity to freshen up and rest, for those like me who travel 5 hours to arrive in beautiful Cattolica.

The hotel is dated, not well-maintained, and the common areas are not clean... Floors not washed but only swept, outdoor areas with excrement and dirt, there is no loading/unloading zone for arrivals because it is always occupied by scooters or other cars, cobwebs in every high corner, small elevators. The rooms are small for a family of 3 or 4 and are not functional (the nightstands are at the foot of the bed because otherwise the small closet won't open, there are no power outlets in the bathroom, and there is no service phone, which is mandatory for a 3-star hotel) and they are not soundproofed (you can hear everything, and I repeat everything!). The beach that is advertised as "nearby" is 400 meters away after 2 intersections (measured by Maps). Only two things satisfied us completely: the kitchen/restaurant (excellent food but be careful: the staff is not friendly) and the pool on the top floor (breathtaking view).

We definitely made an excellent choice; cleanliness, friendliness, and good buffet dining that allows you to satisfy your tastes with a wide range of options. The free dispenser of very fresh water was much appreciated. I would willingly recommend it to a friend because it is located practically right next to Viale Dante and the sea.
