Hotel Metropolitan

I stayed at this hotel with a bit of fear due to the negative reviews, and instead everything was perfect, starting with the very kind staff, in particular Giada, Anita, Delia, Giovanni, the other two (dining room waiters) as well as the “Tunisian” who was generous with the portions! The first and second courses lived up to expectations; as for the appetizers, there was enough choice. The cleanliness, a real feather in the cap. The reception staff ready to meet every need. The bartender, very skilled and professional! The entertainment was also excellent, and even though I did not actively participate in the morning workout and water aerobics for health reasons, I appreciated it a lot. Score 10 out of 10!

We stayed at this hotel the last week of August 2026, arriving a bit worried because of the various reviews we had read. At the time of booking, I was assisted by Mirko, a very courteous, helpful, and friendly person. The date of our arrival arrives, two girls welcome us with a smile and in a short time explain everything to us; it is not trivial to arrive and not have time wasted on bureaucratic things, after 10 minutes we were already on the beach, a dream. Before noon our room was ready, an ocean-view room with a large bathroom and a livable shower stall, clean and fragrant, with the air conditioner already turned on. Everything perfect. We arrive in the dining room and are welcomed by Anita, a cheerful, kind girl who explains how it works in a few words and shows us to our seats. The buffet of first courses, main courses, side dishes, and appetizers, I think could satisfy any palate, it was something truly excessive, water, soft drinks, beer, wine in abundance. In short, nothing was missing. Not to mention the aperitif on the beach, the donut night, in short, NOTHING was missing, in fact... far too much!!! That is how our wonderful vacation continued; we felt at home within a big family that was called METROPOLITAN. To finish, I want to thank Mirko, Anita, and ALL, but truly ALL, the kitchen staff, no one excluded! We thank the cleaning ladies; I even saw them cleaning the hotel lobby at 11:00 PM, and wherever they passed, you could smell the disinfectant they used; thank you from the bottom of my heart for the room always being clean and tidy. Thanks to the reception girls, who were always smiling and always had the right advice or answer for any request. Thanks to the lifeguard, legendary, always available. Finally, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE. We will definitely return.

Just returned from my third stay at the Metropolitan and I'm giving 5 stars again: a vacation of relaxation and fun! The property could use some improvements, but the hotel is very clean and the beachfront location is excellent. The strong point of the stay is definitely the entertainment: the head entertainer Beppe is charismatic, positive, and versatile: brilliant in conducting the evening shows and at ease with daytime entertainment, managing to involve guests of all ages without ever being intrusive.
