Palace Hotel

Imposing and elegant structure with refined interiors, a very attentive welcome, and a high-level restaurant. All services are excellent, the common areas are well-structured, very clean, and elegant. The beach too - which is located right in front of the hotel by crossing a very short stretch of green promenade - is excellently served, clean, and with sun loungers that have mattresses. All the staff - I would like to thank the restaurant maitre d' in particular for the kindness and the highest level of professionalism shown - are well-trained, discreet, very kind, and always available to address any type of request or need. The only small notes concern the room, where there is no lack of space and the period furniture is beautiful but not very functional; furthermore, our room lacked a desk where we could work on a computer if needed. We found mold in the bottom of the tea kettle, but after our report, the kettle was promptly replaced with many apologies. A special mention goes to the restaurant, where both the chefs and the dining room staff are of the highest level; nothing is left to improvisation or chance. The culinary offerings are very well-prepared, and you can tell that the raw materials are of high quality, with dishes that are also delicious but always rooted in tradition. The breakfast, which takes place in the room opening onto the garden and the pool, is also of a high standard: considering the setting, I suggest that the hotel also require a sort of dress code for guests at breakfast, perhaps more casual than for the restaurant. We did not use the pool. The garage is convenient, located underground and accessible by elevators; the parking spaces are spacious enough even for larger SUVs; I only recommend improving the cleanliness and order of the area.

Elegant environment. Beautiful Junior Suite with a very comfortable mattress but with many practical and maintenance flaws that should not be encountered in a 5-star hotel, from the semi-hidden and poorly positioned outlets to the whirlpool tub that woke us up at 3 in the morning with an unbearable noise. It was the filter cleaning that was being done, automatically at any time, even in the middle of the night, unbelievable! Air conditioning impossible to adjust from inside the room. The thermostat is defective. You always have to call the front desk, and if you call them at night, maybe, after 30 minutes of trying to call, they answer you. The hotel hosts events and conferences, with the participants of these conferences making quite a racket in the evening and night hours. Noise, shouting, and a lot of confusion coming from the hallways and the pool during the night hours. The adjacent rooms are also very noisy, especially at night when the participants of this conference probably brought in outside guests to party. Relaxation and tranquility do not exist here.

High standard hotel, very courteous staff, good cleanliness and maintenance. The beach and its restaurant La Spiaggia are very beautiful, mediocre pool, WITHOUT SUPERVISION and management! A lot of noise from rude people, what a shame!
