Classhotel Piacenza Fiera

Hotel in the fair area, in a fairly convenient location. I spent a sleepless night because, due to problems in the room, there was a continuous sound of running water. I informed the reception, which told me that they did not have any other rooms because they were fully booked. I probably would have slept better if I had slept on a bench at the station. The room was obviously paid for at full price. I appreciated the attempt of the two girls at the reception to give me the earplugs. It remains quite ridiculous to sell a room in which there are clearly problems that prevent one from being able to sleep.

Convenient location for those traveling by car, as it is situated near the highway and has parking available. Unfortunately, the 4 stars are overrated. In fact, it is poorly maintained and dilapidated. My room was moderately spacious, but outdated and very warm. The bathroom was mediocre and equipped with the bare essentials. The breakfast was subpar and scarce.

Other rooms were not available, they changed sheets although I doubt it depended on the sheets. And anyway not even a “sorry” “we cleaned” “we checked” but a simple “it’s ready”. 141 euros for a nightmare night
