I booked a room for Swedish House Mafia event that was unfortunately cancelled. Given the exceptional circumstances (and price... 200 euros), I asked if it might be possible to find some accomodation of the not refundable rate, to postpone the reservation to a date of the hotel's choosing, even in low season. I made three phone calls—receiving assurances that were never followed by any action—and sent two emails plus a message via the hotel website's contact form. The result? No response whatsoever. A fine way to taking care customers!

I booked a room because of the planned Kanye west concert. 600 euros for one night (2 pax) , not refoundable. The concert was cancelled. I called the hotel, everybody rude, not speaking english. I was trying to talk someone, just to explain my situation and maybe they coul offer me a discaunt on thw room since I wasnt coming and they could rebook my room and earn more money. So eventually I wrote an email in english and in italian. I didnt even get a f*** y** back, nothing. They totally ignored me. So please, everywhere, just not there. The servise is non existing and the attitude is up in space.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing as a guest at this hotel.
On Wednesday, June 10th, at 9:30 AM, I checked out; there was a middle-aged receptionist with glasses who, in a stern tone, asked me to pay for the in-room consumption (a bag of chips).
Probably one of the cleaning ladies entered the room in the morning during my half-hour breakfast.
I explained to the receptionist that I usually pay what I owe and that it would have been enough to ask if I had consumed anything. She replied that the consumptions must be paid!!!
She added, asking me what I had in my hands when I left the breakfast room: I looked at her quickly, responding: a banana.
She emphasized that it is not allowed to take food out of the room.
While it is stated that there is a regulation, a notice, etc., the fact that she asked me questions loudly, especially with other customers at the reception and in line, where is the courtesy and attention towards the customer?
I have been staying at this hotel for about a year and have always been correct and polite, trying to respect the rules and the space of others, but how is it possible that a person behind the counter can speak to a customer in such a tone?
I travel often for work and know proper manners for every context, but I believe that the attitude of the person at the reception at that moment was out of place.
I would like to add that breakfast costs around 7 euros, which is why I do not believe that a piece of fruit or anything else one decides to consume as a snack could impact a hotel's budget... especially when addressing a customer in such a disrespectful and truly unusual manner!
Other than that, I have no complaints except for this sad experience from yesterday morning.
