Ambra Hotel

Stayed during the week of Ferragosto 2026 from 08/12 to 08/18 with B&B (bed and breakfast) service. Given the Ferragosto period, our expectations were not too high; however, we had to change our minds and had an excellent stay. I must say that this judgment concerns the hotel, but also the beach and, overall, what the Marina Centro area offered us during our stay. In this hotel, you can breathe a familiar and hospitable air, and Cinzia, the owner, together with the whole family, proved to be very hospitable from the start and always ready to chat with the guests. The staff is courteous and helpful. Having read that the rooms were not very large, we preferred to take a quadruple room, paying the supplement. The room was decent and clean and overlooked the side of the hotel on the fourth floor. From the balcony, you could see the sea. The price of our stay turned out to be very fair and lower than other similar properties in the area. The breakfast is excellent and, above all, complete, as it satisfies everyone's tastes. My son and I prefer a savory breakfast, which is not always handled with care; however, here we found an abundant selection and quality. Staying at the Ambra entitles you to a discount at Beach 68/69, which is located exactly opposite. This was also a pleasant discovery, as it is full of amenities, with a good distance between umbrellas and one of the few that does not require paying for hot water for the showers. Notes: Rooms: in the middle of the season, the beach bars organize evenings with DJ sets until late at night. For families with children, I would recommend avoiding the "oceanfront" rooms in this case. The only sore point I would point out is the bath towels, which are never changed during the week.
