4th year booking at De La Ville I booked in April directly from their website, three nights in an executive room, 225 euros per night with breakfast, total 675 euros + 54 for parking During the stay, I noticed that the exact same room was available for 118 euros.... I brought this to the attention of the reception... ultimately, their maximum effort was to make me pay for two nights at 225 euros and one at 145.... naturally, I left.... terrible... especially with a loyal customer

We have been regular guests at this timeless establishment for years. Friendly and always available staff. Superb breakfast. Spacious areas. Strategic location, what else?

The Liberty villa is aesthetically beautiful, but not very functional. Architectural barriers everywhere, with stairs and steps at multiple levels. I was assigned a terrible suite: the air conditioning has not worked for four extremely hot days. I report the problem. A very kind young man arrives and begins to assess the issue, tries to resolve it, but is unable to do practically anything. The next morning, I report the matter to the front desk again. When I return in the late afternoon, the room is like an oven. The receptionist tells me that the problem is complex and they are working on it. No solution even for today. The following day, a young lady at the front desk (the first one I spoke with upon arrival) offers to provide me with a fan to alleviate the discomfort a little. She is the only one who at least tries to help me concretely! We reach the fourth day and finally we are leaving. The room still has a thousand defects: there is not even a small table to place something, to sit down and write or read. There is only the shelf where the TV and a coffee machine are, which cannot even be plugged in because there is no power outlet available other than the one for the TV. There is not even a chair. Only in the second room of the suite is there a useless armchair. Two chairs and a small table on the terrace. In the bathroom, there is no coat rack, but there is a very high step for access, which is not indicated! In the room, there is no bin/container for any type of waste; only in the bathroom is there a mini-bin for the bathroom. Slow WiFi. Paid parking is fine, but very expensive; 18 € per day seems really excessive. Breakfast room divided into two areas: one for getting food and the other for eating, connected by stairs, always stairs! The quality of sleep is difficult to assess given the proximity of the train station and the continuous passage of trains. The only merit of this hotel is its central location!
