HOTEL BRENNERO

I stayed at this hotel with my partner for about 2 nights in mid-July. Simply terrible! After the second night, we literally ran away. Poor cleanliness, if not non-existent, only one roll of toilet paper, a miserable bar of soap to wash with, a sleazy and cunning owner (we also ran away because my boyfriend was quite annoyed by several inelegant and unprofessional jokes that the boss made towards me). Naturally, he guaranteed us the best room (and thank goodness haha, I won't tell you what that was like). The usual little game of having the booking canceled on Booking, then I understood why! To take everything under the table. So much so that I later needed the receipt, which I requested again and again both via email and on WhatsApp (but naturally, Mr. Marco, instead of replying in writing, calls you on the phone without the slightest scruple about disturbing you). Naturally, to this day, the receipt has still not been sent to me. I will report the matter to the proper authorities anyway, as well as the fact that this establishment absolutely must close! Finally, naturally, we had not been told that parking would cost us 10 euros per day. GET OUT! Serena

Horrendous hotel, I will never return, furthermore the owner makes you cancel the booking reservation with an excuse, only to make you pay more with absurd excuses, nonexistent cleaning, zero hygiene, plus he didn't even give me the invoice. Stay away from this "hotel".

Unfortunately, we had the misfortune of staying at this hotel for 4 days. I am giving one star because, unfortunately, it is not possible to give less. Negative experience from beginning to end. Having booked 4 months in advance on Booking, people would expect to have the room booked and to be able to be at ease. With Hotel Brennero and its owner Marco, apparently not. He called us ONE week before saying that Booking had made a mistake with the prices (a trick he apparently has already used, reading previous reviews now; furthermore, a friend of ours who works in the hotel industry explained to us that prices are not entered by Booking, and for an error the hotel should take responsibility) and that we had to pay 30 euros more per night by canceling the reservation on Booking and sending the deposit to his IBAN, assuring us, however, that the room would be better and spacious, or find another facility. At that point, one week from departure, during the Rimini Comics period, finding another facility for us was impossible, so we accepted. Upon arrival, Marco welcomed us, had us pay the full amount immediately, and warned us that, unfortunately, the bathroom window had come off and therefore we wouldn't have it, but that it wouldn't cause us any inconvenience because it was high up and had bars; however, we realized in hindsight that we would have been in full view of anyone anyway, since the window looked directly onto the property's terrace. Once we entered the room, everything was different from what we expected: a small room, air conditioning that was practically useless, so the room was boiling hot; to breathe, we had to go out into the hallway, which, on the contrary, was nice and cool; a shower with a drain clogged with hair, probably from previous guests; a bidet that leaks; towels never changed, despite it being written in the room that they would be changed every 2 days; only one roll of toilet paper for 3 people for 4 days (and upon requesting more toilet paper, we were given one that had already been opened and used by other guests); and last but not least, a nice joint of weed resting comfortably on the room's window (obviously not put there by us; we don't use substances, we never have, and it was sitting there all dusty). This leads me to wonder when the last time they actually deep-cleaned that room was. A terrible experience that we certainly will not repeat.
