Hotel Vittoria

The Vittoria Hotel is an old-style hotel, NOT OCEANFRONT BUT ON A STREET JUST BEHIND THE OCEAN VIEW BLOCKED BY ANOTHER STRUCTURE. The room furnishings, small reception, breakfast room with 1930s curtains, and sofas all remind one of past years, but with a feeling of being old and not very clean. The rooms still have carpeting, outdated furniture, and are very dark. Our room on the top floor indicated a terrace, but in the end, it was a dirty balcony under the roof full of bird droppings. Self-service breakfast, unprepared tables, low-quality food. On the plus side, the staff is friendly but not very efficient; we asked for towels for the shower, but they never brought them. Uncomfortable beds and poor-quality cushions. In short, they boast of being a 5-star hotel but do not reach 3 stars.

We booked a stay with one overnight, breakfast included, and a private spa for 2 and a half hours. We arrived in the breakfast room, I am lactose intolerant, and when I asked, "What can I eat?" the waiter sarcastically yet truthfully replied, "Nothing," despite there being a table at least 3 meters long full of food. Confidently, I asked for the allergen book, and they told me they did not have it. It is not serious that there were no lactose-free options, but for a 5-star hotel not to display the ingredients of what it offers and not to be aware of the ingredients is very serious for me. At the time of check-out, in addition to the city tax and the orange juice (which was not included in the breakfast), they also asked us what we had consumed from the mini-fridge in the room to charge us for it. Needless to say, it was not written anywhere that the drinks (including the water that all hotels, even those without stars, offer for free) were to be paid separately. We will definitely not return due to the lack of honesty. The only positive feedback: the sauna and the hot tub pool.

Bad experience! We organized an event in their room and in addition to the really poor organization in everything, they stole 400 € since we had 21 meals and they charged us 30. When asked for the extra 400 € they took and we didn't have to pay, they told us that the restaurant had already sent them the bill. It's funny, but it is. Not recommended
