Welcoming, great professionalism in a family atmosphere. Very well-prepared cuisine.

Terrible hotel; the pool is the only somewhat decent thing, but the rest is left in total decay. Old room doors with half-broken locks, musty and stale smell, embarrassing decor left over from the 60s or even the 50s, terrible kitchen (the parmesan tasted like pecorino... just to mention one), lack of a remote control for the air conditioner, and to top it off... the 50 ml bottle of water that is usually offered to guests and left on the desk (note, not in the fridge) with "welcome" written on it, which I, naively, thought was complimentary, they charged me 2.50!! Really not to be repeated. Shameful.

If you seek tranquility and want to disconnect from the city routine, this is the ideal place: a pool with space to relax in the sun, good quality food, and a nice buffet of cooked and raw vegetables every day. Those with intolerance issues, like me, to gluten and dairy, are attended to with great care. Then, if you want to try, in addition to the treatments at the Tabiano spa, there is also a well-maintained wellness center located about 1 km away, which you can walk to if you enjoy walking. The hotel also offers a 10% discount on the beautiful and recently renovated Berzieri spa in Salsomaggiore, which is a bit farther away by car, but is worth trying. A reflection: Tabiano is a very nice little town; it is a pity that the institutions have not given more prominence to this location and have not supported the various activities, which have partly been left in a state of neglect.
