We had a great 1 night stay. While simple, our room was clean and comfortable. There is a kitchen that would be great for a longer stay. The staff were friendly. The front porch was a nice place to have a coffee. My husband took full advantage of the 24hr. bar. Oliva is close walking distance to most anything you'd want.

One employee made my trip so special. She genuinely cared and took time out of a busy Saturday to share. Her language proficiency made this solo traveler so much more comfortable after a pretty rocky start on my visit from the US. Although I have only just met her, I leave a little of my heart in Aviano, in addition to a half gallon of drinking water and perhaps ten cans of Voodoo Ranger India Pale Ale. (Great beer next door and seltzer water onsite made these purchases unnecessary. The meals at Brazier next door were amazing. As delicious as they were and as knowledgeable as the wait staff were, there was one huge problem. My favorite hotel staff member did not work at the restaurant. I guess we can't hold that against the restaurant. If this reads like a love story rather than a review, I'm OK with that. 'Cuz Everybody Loves Italy's Aviano... Love from the states.

We stayed a week at Hotel Oliva in June, very thankful for the air conditioning. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful (English proficient), location was close to all the places we wanted to go. We will stay there again.
