The Italia Palace is undoubtedly and rightfully one of the best hotels in Lignano. A wonderful breakfast buffet on the rooftop terrace, crowned by chocolate fountains, freshly prepared egg variations, and even bee pollen (an immense immune booster from our honeybees) are served... which personally pleases me very much as a beekeeper. The same terrace transforms in the evening into an atmospheric, illuminated rooftop bar and lounge area. Diverse, top-equipped pool and wellness floors make young and old hearts beat faster, if one disregards the fact that half of the water attractions offered, such as shoulder fountains or bench jets, do not work or defective pool lighting covers drift around "ownerless" in the pool all day along with cables. The staff in the service as well as in the cleaning area is extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, we could not extend this praise to the staff at the reception when we expressed our displeasure regarding a multiple power outage during a professional business conference call. The reaction and response here were neither helpful nor appropriate. A polite apology and an invitation to a cocktail would have had a conciliatory effect and influenced our rating here, as we were guests in a very high-priced junior suite, which should rather be sold as a larger double room on the homepage. Even the "Versace tiles" from the early 90s do not justify these prices.

We spent another wonderful vacation at the Italia Palace in Lignano; as every year, everything was perfect! The porter and the ladies at the reception ensure a relaxed arrival. Our room was very spacious and always clean. Gianluca and his team are always very friendly and helpful and ensure excellent service at breakfast and dinner. The food selection is very good and varied; we almost always chose fish dishes, but I would like to mention the pasta Genovese from the last evening – truly delicious. The bar on the roof terrace is dreamily beautiful, with excellent service here as well.

Hotel with top-notch services, super breakfasts, and a wide selection ranging from sweet to savory. Quality restaurant. Excellent aperitifs on the terrace, accompanied by Ivan's professionalism.
