Hotel Soraya

⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 We stayed at this hotel in Lignano Pineta for Marco Mengoni's concert in June 2025 PROS: The location is definitely the strong point: the hotel is close to the sea and also convenient for reaching the stadium for concerts. We also found the staff to be kind and helpful, which we appreciated very much. CONS: The hotel, unfortunately, could use a nice refresh. The rooms and furnishings are rather dated, and the parquet on the floor contributes to giving the structure a very “old-fashioned” look. For example, on the bedroom door, there was a full-height print depicting a girl in a bikini on a jet ski, a photograph that seemed to date back to the early 2000s. 😂 Let's say it perfectly conveys the idea of the hotel's style being a bit “stuck in time.” In the room, we also had a problem with ants coming up from the sink, which was certainly unpleasant and should be checked. The air conditioning was locked, and it was not possible to either increase or decrease the temperature, which was not particularly pleasant. The pool was also quite cold, so we weren't able to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Breakfast, on the other hand, was the part that disappointed us the most. The quality of the cold cuts seemed quite low to us, the coffee was not good, and the water was actually yellow, probably because it was coming out of the same tap used for the juice. A situation that should certainly be reviewed. We had also paid for a second breakfast, but after the first experience, we preferred to skip it and have breakfast outside the hotel. In conclusion, the hotel has an excellent location and the staff is kind, but in our opinion, it needs a major renovation, both in the rooms and in the quality of the services offered. For a stay focused primarily on the location, it can be convenient, but we expected something more.

I would like to break a lance in favor of this hotel, given the many negative reviews I would say that it is not as bad as it is described, normal room with all the necessary single point I would arrange the air conditioning and a frighetto that cools more, great breakfast from sweet to savory all available, another much appreciated thing and the aperitif offered by them on the terrace. What to say yes the hotel is a bit given but overall it is a good hotel not to mention the great location very close to the beach. Last but not least is Luca the fantastic valet.

In Lignano you can rent everything in August, even 50-year-old apartments that have never been renovated and have several defects. 220 € per night.
