These comments are made in a constructive spirit and with the aim of making a useful contribution to the property for a possible improvement of the service. The hotel is classified as a 5-star property and, as such, generates precise expectations in terms of quality, attention to detail and operational standards. The rooms, while being clean and tidy, highlight quite markedly the weight of time, with finishes and general setting that would need an update consistent with the stated positioning. Breakfast, unfortunately, is the most critical aspect of the experience. Some episodes are hardly compatible with a context of this level: * The refueling of the brioche baskets takes place manually, without the use of pliers or suitable tools, in front of the guests. * Yogurts are decanted directly from large industrial packaging, brought into the room and used without any attention to presentation or service. * The totality of the proposed products appears to be of industrial origin: a legitimate choice in terms of quality and health, but not consistent with a 5-star experience, where a greater presence of artisan or otherwise distinctive proposals is expected. * All accompanied by conversations between staff loudly, which contribute to compromising the atmosphere. Another note concerns the bar service: upon returning to the hotel after dinner, the request for a simple gin and tonic met with the early closure of the service. Only after a certain insistence, and for the availability of the receptionist, it was possible to obtain what was requested. An episode that, in a hotel of this category, should be the exception, not the rule. A positive mention goes instead to the pool and some members of the waiting staff, who in that context have shown professionalism, courtesy and attention. It is clear that there is no shortage of good human resources; what is lacking is rather coordination and organisational management. And this is precisely the central point: the quality of service cannot be left to individual initiative, but must be the result of a solid, coherent structure and constantly aligned with the stated standards. We live in a competitive environment where the level of hospitality has risen significantly. Destinations once considered secondary, such as Albania, Slovenia and Croatia, now offer efficient and modern reception models. In this scenario, historic towns like Lignano Sabbiadoro cannot afford to live on rent. If they do not meet contemporary standards, it becomes difficult to sustain a 5-star rating, especially when rates remain consistent with that rating, but the overall experience is not as consistent.

A wonderful place with great, tasty food, clean and comfortable rooms, and a big pool. The friendly and caring staff create a positive atmosphere that make you feel like you are the only one.
