Alla Valle di Banne

Very comfortable hotel, excellent and friendly staff, fridge with water and coffee machine (with pods included). Very complete sweet and savory buffet breakfast. Excellent location for visiting Trieste and Miramare Castle. Excellent value for money, even in the week of Ferragosto. Experience to be repeated!

The reception staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are tasty, fresh, delicious coffee. A small minus too tight parking for owners of large cars

Wanting to visit Trieste over the three days of Easter 2024, we chose this hotel based on the positive reviews. I can confirm everything positive that has been written about the hotel and the very kind owners Mr Marco and Mrs Marina. Decent, spacious, clean room and bathroom with window, a little small but fully equipped. In the room, a pleasant surprise: a coffee machine plus a glass bottle of water that we filled daily in the breakfast room: room temperature still water, cold and sparkling on tap. Exceptional breakfast, abundant and varied choice of both sweet and savory. The attentive lady Marina made me find freshly squeezed orange juice on my table throughout my stay. Summing up, all always accompanied by a smile without any surcharge. The location of the hotel is good, with free private parking and at the exit of the hotel, the bus stop 51, which takes you to Trieste central station in about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, only on weekends there was no restaurant service. Too bad, I later learned from some regular customers that Mrs. Marina cooks very well. However in nearby Opicina only 2 km away, there are many pizzerias and cheap restaurants. I forgot, the price of the room with breakfast was more than honest considering the period. In conclusion, an excellent and comfortable hotel for visiting Trieste without being ruined.
