To be restored: old bathrooms, decaying rooms. Air conditioner not working Discreet location Disappointing value for money

Booked this hotel on night before a cruise from Trieste. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable. The room lacked usb sockets. Everyone has smart phones now. In terms of value,the hotel rated very well. The reception staff were friendly and excellent. They arranged a meal for us at a nearby restaurant this saved our time in exploring and taking pot luck.

I arrived on a Sunday morning and was greeted very cordially, I left my suitcase in a special closet and then took a ride to Trieste. On return the room was ready, clean in every detail and spacious enough. I didn't see particularly negative things, maybe just a little bit the mattress too soft for me (I'm not a featherweight). The kindness of the people at the reception is really an added value, tempts you to come back, net of the rest that is still valid. I haven't tried breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The location is ok, the hotel is a few minutes walk from the station and not far from the center (you can do everything on foot). Prices are acceptable, always better to take a look at the official website of the property.
