Grado is a peaceful place for a relaxing holiday, but unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was quite disappointing. The hotel assigned me a room overlooking a building where renovation work starts every morning at 7 a.m. The bathroom is around 40 years old, the shower cabin is broken, and the water pressure is very weak. The air conditioning is extremely noisy, while the windows and doors are old, and every time they are opened or closed, the noise can be heard throughout the hotel. The beds are of the poorest quality. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi to its guests, but the signal is often so weak that it is barely possible to send a simple message to your family. The surrounding area is poorly maintained, and the balconies have no shade, greenery, or any other feature that would provide even a minimum of privacy. For 3 days they didn't take garbage out of the room. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is decent.

Very good location, decent breakfast and large, bright rooms, equipped with minibar, safe and air conditioning. New bathrooms. Very kind staff. The downside is the smell that comes from the exhaust pipes and the lack of parking in the facility. However, all in all, a more than positive experience

Good location near the beach and the center, otherwise the structure is a bit dated. Location of the breakfast room is sad (in the basement), but can be solved with self-service by taking the tray to the terrace and then bringing the remains back downstairs: not bad for self-service. The quality and variety of food is decent (excluding juices from the machine). The room is very small (60s) now in need of current spaces/sizes. Good cleanliness of the rooms. Reception staff although friendly had some organizational uncertainty; read the difference between the list prices on the site and those offered on site. I find parking at 12 euros excessive.
