Good location a few steps from the center; otherwise, the room on the first floor was very small, with the bed against the wall on one side, and a meager breakfast at the nearby bar; they made me pay extra for water and a cream-filled pastry.

Beyond the excellent location and the courtesy of those who received us, we will remember little that was positive about our stay at Palazzo Sartori. The stairs are very slippery (Caution! My daughter slipped badly) and the higher floors are difficult to reach since there is no elevator. In the room, the air conditioner does not work properly, the bathroom mirror light does not turn on, and we found a stained sheet and a very dirty towel. The mini-fridge is really small and does not cool well, and the freezer drawer is broken. The bed is rather uncomfortable and springy, and if that were not enough, the small room turned out to be very noisy (we could hear every little noise from the next room). Unfortunately, we also noticed a bad smell. Price definitely too high for the poor service offered! An experience not to be repeated for us. We are sorry.

B & B Palazzo Santori is located just a few steps from Villa d'Este and the beautiful historic center of Tivoli. The room that was offered to us was spacious with a nice bathroom. At the entrance, there is also a sort of wardrobe that hides a mini kitchen. There is air conditioning and wifi. The breakfast included at the nice bar nearby is of good quality: 2 pastries and a drink. The drawbacks are the absence of an elevator (but the friendly receptionist helped us carry our luggage) and the difficulty in finding parking. Behind the nearby castle, there is a very large one, but it is very expensive for an entire night.
