Hotel Porto di Roma

This is a rather newly renovated and very good hotel. They're listed as a 2 star hotel in many booking portals, but I personally would say it's rather a 3 star hotel. The location is very convenient and walkable to many restaurants and the main areas of the city. They offer a shuttle to the cruise port that runs frequently and on time. It does cost a small surcharge but it is worth the money in my opinion. The hosts are the sweetest people and every guest is welcomed with a very warm welcome and smile. The reception is not staffed 24/7 but they have a really good system running for late arrivals as well. No issues observed there. As already mentioned the rooms are rather newly renovated and the standard is more towards a 3 star hotel than the 2 stars they're listed at. The breakfast that I had included in my room was very good! Especially the daily changing original Italian baked goods were incredible! The room was cleaned daily and it was very well done. Nothing to criticise here. Price wise, the hotel is slightly on the higher side perhaps, but still in a reasonable range within the city. All the cruise guests probably push up the price level in general. So, all in all, if I ever was to come back to Civitavecchia, I most likely would stay here again.

If you are going on a cruise in Civitavecchia, this is an amazing and fantastic hotel to stay at, great clean and very close to the cruise terminal, great hotel to stay before you go on your cruise, excellent staff and great place to stay before you set sail on your cruise!!!
