A Home for Holiday

Even before we flew to Rome Vittorio emailed me with helpful information on getting to his B & B from Ciampino airport. When we arrived his friendly welcome put us as ease straight away. It's about a 20min walk from the train station Termini or using the subway to San Giovanni a lot quicker. His rooms are clean, spacious and cool. There are two nice bathrooms and a good little kitchen. Vittorio supplies milk, juice, muesli, bread, (sugary) croissants / Danish, etc. The place is an ideal base to search Rome from. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Vittorio.

We booked A home for holiday through bookings.com and this was our first experience booking a BnB. We stayed for 3 nights. Pros : the place is very close to metro and bus stops which take you to the city. Colosseum is around 30 mins walk. The place is very clean and well maintained with a kitchen. There are 2 bathrooms which are shared amongst 3 rooms and are well kept. Mr.Vittorio was very kind and helped us with an extra bed for a couple of nights without any issues. Every morning we were treated to fresh pastries and there is milk bread and other stuff available in the kitchen which you can use for basic cooking. The apartment building has a lift. There is a shared balcony which is quite airy and nice. Mr.Vittorio helped us with maps,informing us how to go about places. Cons: the only issue I found was there was lots of noise from the street which caused disturbances in our sleeping. I assume it being a weekend when we moved, could have been the cause, the apartment was quite during rest of the days. My family and I will will definitely stay here again when we visit Rome and I highly recommend it for people who love staying in a BnB.

Nice B&B five minutes from San Giovanni metro station and 20-30 minutes from Colosseum on foot. Pastries for breakfast are excellent. (And the coffee machine also.) The bed was comfortable and the room was all right with a nice terrace to hang out in the evenings. The bathrooms and the kitchen are clear and fairly equipped. On the other hand, warm water was randomly available and the walls were a bit thin. In summary it was a nice place to stay during our vacation in Rome.
