Al Ponte del Papa Bed and Breakfast

Unfortunately, you can only give 5 stars, as more would be appropriate here 😃 Everything here is simply perfect. Even in advance, you receive valuable tips and get answers to everything. Even during the stay, you are provided with restaurant recommendations for every taste and occasion. The accommodation is super clean and well-maintained, and the beds are very comfortable. A lot of love has been put into every little detail here, and one immediately feels at home and comfortable. The kitchen and the terrace can be used freely, and both exude a wonderful charm that must be experienced rather than described. The bathrooms are also very clean, and nothing is lacking. The daily breakfast is a true delicacy. Here, one receives a different warm breakfast every day, fresh fruit, sweet treats, and very delicious cappuccino, as well as other coffee. One is truly pampered. The location is perfect. A few minutes on foot and one is at the Vatican. A few minutes later, one is already in the old town of Rome. The area is also safe, and for those who do not like to walk, there is a bus stop right by the accommodation that goes directly to the Vittoriano and back. Above the Vatican, there is also a metro station. For quick shopping or a snack, there are shops below the accommodation. However, the highlight is Giulia and Danilo. The two are incredibly warm, funny, helpful, and accommodating. Two truly wonderful and kind souls that are rarely encountered today. The morning conversations were a true enrichment. It did not feel like one was a guest in an accommodation, but rather as if one were visiting good friends. Rome is a highlight, but this B&B, along with Giulia and Danilo, makes Rome unforgettable. For that reason alone, I will definitely come back 😊
