In January heating off so cold room. There is a split in the room but the owner doesn't have remote controls. Price not adequate. Cramped building. The only thing that might be acceptable is the proximity to St. Peter's Square. For the rest everything is NO

The place is located across the Vatican City, I highly recommend it as it’s close to everything, and has some really nice restaurants nearby. The hostess Chiara is super charming and very kind. She explained everything we needed to know and arranged a car to pick us from the airport.

Gorgeous family owned apartment directly opposite the entrance to the Vatican. The host Chiara met us on arrival and provided every little piece of information we needed - she couldn't do enough for us, so very kind. The room was spotlessly clean, with an extremely comfortable super king sized bed, en-suite, coffee machine & fridge. We paid 6 euro each for a shuttle bus from Ciampino airport, which dropped us off approx 17/20 mins walk to the apartment. I didn't want to risk the bus as i had read so many horror stories about pick pockets. There are 5 or 6 restaurants right on the main street outside the apartment, we ate at 3 of them and they were all good - although like most of the places in Rome its mainly pizza & pasta. We visited all the sights over 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
