I booked a 17 m² room with a bidet and amenities through a portal, I ended up in a room of about 10 m² without a bidet in the bathroom, the property is very old, dirty, the furniture very old, the breakfast poor

I came to spend a few days in Rome with my boyfriend to explore this eternal city. Arriving at the hotel, a nice lady welcomed us. It was the beginning of hell.
Upon discovering the room, we discovered an old, dirty, bleachy room mixed with an old person smell.
If you want to take a shower but are a little plump, forget it! The shower is tiny, moldy, sincerely it was excruciating. We had to go buy pills against dust allergies!! Sheets smell like bleach, it's like the municipal pool. I thought I had left only with my boyfriend, not at all, the room neighbors were also part of the party since the insulation between the rooms hardly exist! Noises of doors, discussion in the hallway etc. in short you will hear everything. As for breakfast, certainly the place was nice, small roof top that allows to see the sunrise, but it stops there! Very small breakfast, which is limited to some industrial products. In short, run away, don’t do like us to want to save a few euros, because we ended up in hell, where would I say in the dirt!

I was looking for a hotel near Pigneto and from the photos and descriptions I was convinced - alas not checking the reviews.
Mrs. Tiziana, who had responded to my e-mail and had immediately contacted me by phone, had proved kind and I convinced myself.
I arrive and it takes 40 minutes to find a parking space on the street, BUT on Saturdays there is forced removal from 9 to 12, despite Mrs. Barbara, who was at check-in, kept telling me not to worry. I had to call the City Service to hear what I was afraid of.
I therefore decide not to confirm the second night and I go to the room, very small and with dated furniture, but I was not looking for the luxury room so I make it fine. On the bathroom door there is a dirty cloth, traces of uncleaned dirt on the ground. There are no electrical outlets apart from the refrigerator, from which comes a strange smell. I open and find a pizza carton with remains (I also point out that I do not eat carbohydrates so no one could claim that I put that stuff anyway old).
Notice promptly by email and whatsapp pointing out that the next day I would have left before check-out time also seen the parking issue and not wanting to risk the forced removal. Mrs. Barbara (who speaks little Italian, no English, I wanted to talk to her in Serbocroatian because being a Slavic language maybe she would understand something, since the kind Barbara is Polish, but I did not want to make another hole in the water and I was sorry to embarrass her), had proposed their parking at €15 per day, in a gate after an internal parking with a bar. The place available was small and I did not want to create traffic jams or annoyances. I was terribly disappointed because of what is sponsored (even a gym) there was nothing - but mostly lacked the basic options needed, luxury was not expected. But hygiene does. I wonder how the stars are awarded and I still do mea culpa because I trusted - I travel a lot and this is the first time I find myself in such a situation. I have some qualms even about washing and going to bed. However, it was enough to think about it first and ask ChatGPT for info on the issue of “street parking available” in via di Villa Serventi/Hotel Antico Acquedotto to find links to several reports and negative reviews.
