B&B Earnest

Unfortunately we did not like anything of the property. The facilities were extremely uncomfortable, a part of it has been fixed with tape!!! The shower does not work properly, the water might be boiling or icing. The beds seemed old and worn, I had back pain from the first night I've slept on them. The room is big, however the windows are pretty old and from 6am you can hear the noise from the street which will surely wake you up. The reservation has been presented as "with breakfast included", but it was everything except a real breakfast: a bottle of water and 3 packed pastries probably bought from Lidl or some cheap shops. If you want to enjoy your staying in Rome, I highly recommend not to choose this place.

Comparing to the other hotels in Rome, this hotel is cheap; plus close to Tiburtina bus, metro and railway station where you can reach the places easily. However, the hotel is consisted of some flats of a big apartment and surroundings of which look like a ghetto. I can say that the hotel is a bit old and average. If you want just a cheap hotel and to sleep in a standart comfort, it is okay. It has also kitchen, and there is private bathroom in the rooms. A Hongkongese attendant of the hotel who works between 08:00-20:00 is kind and helpful.

Apart from the typical Roman light breakfast, our stay here was near excellent. Since we were 10 persons, we took an entire apartment with four rooms, and this aided ease of stay, speed of dressing, use of the kitchen, etc. It was difficult for us to find the B&B, and we accessed it by walking to and fro Tiburtina Station. There is a 24 hours BBQ style restaurant nearby, from which got a sumptuous dinner on our last night and wished we discovered it earlier. I have three photos from the neighborhood to share.
