B&B Roma Cheap & Chic

We arrived at B&B at 5 pm and were forced to find a way to open the door to the yard and find the keys with instructions given by email. Unfortunately, the socket in the bathroom was broken, but it was quickly repaired. How was the room prepared for our arrival, if nobody noticed a broken socket? The air conditioner was very noisy. In the mini bar there were no snacks, which were in the price list to the mini bar. Unfortunately, there was not anybody at the reception (only early in the morning, at breakfast time). WiFi did not work often (therefore, if you plan to work or watch films, this place is not for you). For breakfast was only bad coffee and a little baking. We stayed at the B&B for 5 nights, the room was cleaned only once! The rest of the time we were forced to store the garbage in bags and leave them in the bathroom. So, I must say, that this B&B is only cheap but NOT CHIC!

The location of this b&b was excellent; a nice walk and you are at the Colosseum but only 5 minutes from Termini Station. There was nothing bad about the accommodation although noise from other apartments in the building was an issue at 1.45am! Breakfast was so so, nothing special but nothing specifically wrong with it either. The only issue we really had was communication with the owner when there was a problem; there was a slight language barrier.

Positive: Well located, recently renovated bathroom and kitchen, good ratio quality/price, good reception, good light breakfast; To be improved: refresh bathroom painting, headboard need to be recovered, bedspread need to be changed, for a better acces the small refrigerator should be placed on a small table instead of directly on the floor.
