I wanted to say location, location, location, because this is just a short 2 blocks away from Roma Termini. But, I say there surely are a lot more bed and breakfast places to stay in near the terminal that are clean, with bathrooms that have exhaust fans or windows, and lights and air conditioning units that work. The apartment where we stayed consisted of 3 rooms with a kitchen. The building was located across the reception area (which is across the street). The building looked charming from the outside, but inside the apartment, the curtains and bed covers smelled and felt dusty, the television sets didn't work and the air conditioning units looked like they would conk out anytime. One AC was not operational. It seemed like the beds were gathered together in a tiny room, just so it could be said that the room could accommodate 4 persons, when in reality, it could accommodate comfortably only 2 persons. The only thing good with this apartment was the free wifi. I wouldn't ever want to stay here again...

Location of the hostel is one of the most important advantages of this place- 5minutes walk from Termini Station and a walking-distance from the all major spots and attractions in Rome! Rooms are cleaned everyday and include all the useful equipment, beds are comfortable, for the 5 euro you can eat breakfast- quite well-prepared buffet. I think it's s really good place to stay when you're in Rome!

Our original booking was at the three coins b&b by the trevi fountain under the same management of this establishment. This was cancelled on the day of arrival due to alleged water problems after emailing throughout the week before with no reply. Only notified during transit on plane to Rome that no room was available. Maria (I believe management) did find us a room at this place by nightfall, no where near our previous, desirable, location. However, proceeded to charge us the full 3 coins rate as opposed to the cheaper rate at this location. When queried she was abusive and threatened to throw two young female adults out with no other accommodation. Leaving us in an impossible situation while forced to pay, putting a huge dampener on the experience in Rome, having her shout at my 19 year sister and having reduced her to tears. The hotel was basic and the actual reception staff tried there best to help us.
