B&B Zen Trastevere

Me and my two friends booked the studio for three persons. The main bedroom had a bed that was good but I had to sleep on the bedsofa that they rate as a bed. The bedsofa did not have a proper mattress, not even a thin one and I had to literally sleep on the hard construction on the bottom of the sofa that was covered with a thin textile. So I did not sleep during three nights and my vacation was spoled. The worsest was that I did not get a proper response from their so called customer service neither did they offer no monetary compensation for an unsuitable bed even I paid as much as my room mates who had a proper bed. Zen Trastevere keeps blaming Booking.com and says they have to compensate me and Booking.com says vice versa. DO NOT BOOK a visit for three persons, the sleeping arrangements are only for two and the customer service is under all critic.

The b & b is located in an old building. Probably subject to partial renovation... but we are not there. Never mind the renovation done Probably bad. Good size of rooms. It is indicated that after 12.00 the room is no longer arranged.... but not even before... breakfast is indicated but what there is not written that there is actually no place to make it... the common area used for breakfast is small with just a stool. On the balcony there are a couple of seats but if it rains it is not usable. Also in the room there are just 2 chairs, if you are 3 one eats on the bed.... breakfast with packaged products.... tea and coffee machine available. But for the price it is better. Comfortable the area

Perfect location in a great quirky area. Comfortable with good A/C. Very efficient hosts with good communication. Supermarket very close. Great café for breakfast 20m away. Superbe Gelateria opposite. Centre of town 5 mins away by taxi or you can walk it
