BB Colosseo Suites

Not a great choice, but not horrible. It is a converted residential space into 4 bedrooms and a small reception area. Rooms are on the 3rd floor, no elevator. Room was basic with basic amenities. There was a safe, but not fixed to anything, so the whole safe could be easily taken! The bathroom was smelly - not from our apartment but from the building - poor old plumbing. No bathroom amenities. Breakfast was a voucher to a local café, just down the road.....you are allowed one bread item, coffee and juice. No great value compared with all other B&Bs we used in Italy and Europe. Too basic an offering. The accommodation is not staffed. We only saw the owner when we checked in and paid. She did not know the answer to basic questions; where is pharmacy? where is a supermarket? Where is train station to Florence? Not helpful. So do not expect any assistance / service. You are on your own. Not an issue - just be aware. We would not stay here again, but was just about okay to stay as we had booked it.

I read many bad reviews about this place and was apprehensive at first. but I need a place that I can walk back easily after the New Year Countdown. I did not have high expectations, but I was surprised when I arrived. The room was very new, modern! Everything seemed to be working well. My room was on Level 3, next to the receptionist's unit. This could be one of the better rooms compared to the rest of the reviews. The receptionist is not always around, most of the time , you are on your own. Make sure you asked all your questions before she hands the keys over to you. Location was good with numerous restaurants to choose from. Clementine, the little restaurant which received good reviews, is just a few units away. Colosseo subway station is only 5 minutes walk. Overall a very safe area for a solo female.

Is not hotel is a flat rented by Romanian /Italian family, there is no reception so when you arrive you need to call them and wait for 30min, rooms look like 70s comunistick squatt, is dirty lots of fungus everywhere, if you lucky you may have a electricity for the whole stay which I didn't , toilets sits where on the floor not on the toilets, spare towels where left on the top spare toilet, the wear bags in the bathroom, tv was from 80s and not satellite tv or wi-if, on top of it pictures you are viewing on the web are not real so DO NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!as well I did ask to book me a white license taxi to the airport what I got on the morning was a old broken car which was driving 30km/h and we where facing to miss are fly as it did almost broke down, there not honest people don't trust any word or picture on this web!!!!!!
