The property is beautiful and the staff is welcoming, but inside my room, unfortunately, perhaps due to an electrical fault, nothing worked from the electrical outlets to the lights in the room and bathroom and even the hair dryer, except for the television. Furthermore, on the morning of check-out around 9/10 AM (despite check-out being at 12:00 PM), someone from the staff entered the room finding me in bed, and for me, this is unacceptable.

We stayed two nights and two breakfasts, old structure, uncomfortable bed and pillow without any padding (like sleeping directly resting on the mattress), breakfast with very little choice and especially not stocked. Disappointing, we will definitely opt for other facilities in the future.

small hotel located in Parioli in a quiet area. 1950s building probably renovated in the 1970s-80s. Style “what a certain American tourism liked” of the 70s precisely: busts, statues, opulent upholstery, fake-antique paintings, a jumble, but whatever. Small rooms, fairly cramped bathroom, vanity let alone. Unacceptable that there is no intimate soap and a plastic anti-slip mat for the bathtub, 70s in fact, quite unobtainable even on eBay now to tell the truth. Cleanliness very improveable. Breakfast to forget. I put three dots exclusively for two reasons: very good sleep quality, despite the suboptimal internal soundproofing and light filters from under the door of the room and for the Staff: kind, punctual, helpful. Pretty surprised that it is four stars and BW, chain usually more reliable in quality standards
