Very disappointed. For the same price, there were plenty of other hotels in the area that looked much nicer that you could book in to. We had considered doing this ourselves had we not missed the cancellation date.
Upon arrival there is absolutely no indication as to how to check in. We called multiple numbers with no answer and once we got through to someone we were told we would have to wait another 15 minutes after already waiting for half an hour. This is also after my partner being bombarded with emails confirming our arrival time of which we were spot on time for.
Once they finally arrived 45 minutes later there was no attempt to make us feel better about the situation other than a sloppy apology, in fact, the woman that I assume was Claudia, there was no introduction, tried and accused me and my partner of over reacting saying "it was only 40 minutes". She explained that it was a public holiday which yes, we were aware of and could understand if she was using public transport but she drove down herself and made no attempt to inform us of this while we were waiting. She argued with my partner that he had not phoned her at all and that the emails we sent her were later than we said they were which wasnt true. She ignored the argument that we had stated we would be there for a certain time, brushing it off every time it was mentioned and said that reception opens from 12 which makes no sense seeing as we wanted to check in after 12 anyway and on the website it says check in from 10.
The room itself cannot be faulted. Its spacious, the room and bathroom were very clean and the communal area is well equipped for making drinks and food.
Maybe we got the people who run the place on an off day, I'm not sure however what I am sure of is that I have never received service like it.

It is situated nearby Termini station. The neighborhood may look dodgy but it was perfectly fine for me to walk around it in the day & night (solo female traveler). Room is simple & clean (studio room for 1 person). Wifi is fast (Euro1 for the whole stay. Not the best place ever but really good value for money. May stay here again if I visit Rome again!

If you are in Rome and in a tight budget, you should try this out. The owner knows a bit of English so conversing with him wouldn't be a problem. Just remember that in Rome you should be informed that there will be a city tax on top of what you will be paying for this accommodation.
