Casa Preziosissimo Sangue

Near St. Peter's Square, excellent value for money, friendly staff

We chose this holiday home because we wanted to stay close to St. Peter's Basilica. Once we arrived we were made to sit in a room, very spartan (I emphasize the fact that we did not want to stay in a luxury structure so the expectation was to be in a decent and simple place) but we did not expect to sleep on a very hard mattress and with pillows a couple of centimeters high, which contributed to two nights a bit complicated for both of us. The bathroom, also Spartan, had a dusty towel warmer and was not very clean. Breakfast was definitely below average. This is definitely not a three star property (since we paid the tourist tax from 6 euros per night): if you consider everything, you can probably call it a dormitory one kilometer from the Vatican.

The stay at the Casa del Preziosissimo Sangue was very pleasant, also because near the Vatican and in a few minutes walk you reach everything that Rome offers. I recommend it to everyone also for the seriousness of the people who work there and for the family treatment I found. I recommend it. Have a nice day
