Casa Valdese

I used Expedia App to book just one night stay at this hotel for Late July 2026. Unfortunately, due to my wife’s physical conditions, we have to change our upcoming travel plan and cancel this one night hotel stay. My cancellation request was denied and I was required to pay full price for that night. We are close to two months away from our original arrival date on the reservation, why do we have to pay full price for the cancellation? It’s going to be a busy vacation season, and the hotel as well as Expedia could easily rent this one night out. Even a deduction of a portion of the nightly fee would be considered reasonable. Why does this hotel insist on full payment on the booking with arrival date about 2 months away? This is such a ripoff and Expedia representatives just stay on the sidelines watching us suffer. Travelers be aware of such travel traps.

First time at Casa Waldense. Great discovery in the Prati area, very close to the Lepanto metro stop. Great value for money for a 3 star. The staff was friendly and helpful. Extraordinarily quiet rooms and location

Good location, cozy and clean room, but basic furniture. Very small bathroom, like the breakfast that really saddened us.
