City House

City house has an unbeatable location in the centre of Rome. This B&B is half a block from the pantheon surrounded by restaurants. A lovely couple runs this spotlessly clean place and delivers your continental breakfast directly to your room. They were there to answer any questions and help us out. My husband and I would stay there again.

Air conditioning was poor at best, and with very humid temperatures, was very uncomfortable. We were told to shut off air conditioner when we left the room, causing the room to be very uncomfortable on returning and we could not get it to be a comfortable temperature all night. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. There was only one set of pillows and when asked for more we were denied. Only one set of shower towel which were not changed daily. Shower door would not close completely causing floor mat to be soaked and it was not changed. Access to the room is up a very narrow staircase. If you have issues with stairs, stay away from this place. We paid for a room with a double bed and a twin but the room we were told was ours would never fit that unless the three beds are jammed together with no room to move. Breakfast was packaged croissant and yogurt and coffee. Only good thing was location. Other hotels around for similar price and better features. Would not recommend.

I have stayed here two times and loved it! You cannot beat the location which is just down the street from the Pantheon. The rooms are a nice size and you get a traditional Italian breakfast brought to your room each morning. There are two restaurants and gelato very near which makes it nice if you are tired after a day of sightseeing. The metro is a short walk away as well as the bus stop. You can easily walk to just about wherever you want to go. Daniela and Marco are the kindest couple and they really make your stay nice! When I go back to Rome, I will definitely stay there again.
