Cosmos

Very nice staff. Room with bathroom inside, clean and spacious. Free coffee and infusions. It is close to the metro station and the Colosseum. Right on the doorstep is a shop and there are restaurants nearby. To put a stick on it, it's pretty noisy from traffic.

We arrived in Rome via train for the first time. We walked 20 minutes to the Cosmos, past the park full of drug deals and homeless. Overlooked it being unfamiliar with the city trying to stay positive. Arrived to the dirty and unkept entrance of the Cosmos and lugged the suitcases up the steps because the lift looked dangerous. We didn’t have other reservations. We walked into the dimly lit hallway with the temperature over 90 degrees! The hallway lights turned off and the manager would stomp on the floor to bring them back on. The rooms lock was suspect and very old. The blanket was stained, the bath was dirty, moldy and had missing light bulbs in the sockets. I didn’t shower because it was too small and I didn’t want to touch anything. We slept fully clothed and with the window open because of the extreme temperature which we could not regulate. With the window open, the street noise kept us awake all night and frightened with the sounds of people passing by intoxicated from the street below and police sirens. We found another reservation for the next day and left first thing in the morning. I left behind $40 euros and the room key in the desk drawer. I texted the manager to let her know that we left. She said they found the key but not the money (go figure). They charged me for the entire 3 night stay. Don’t ever book here! You will be very disappointed if you book at this place!

Its a ok hotel if you want to stay near termini.the staff were very warm and friendly.the room was clean and tidy and cleaned daily .i cant really think of any complaints that i had. I would probably visit again.
