Giorgi

We booked at the Hotel Positano, but for no reason, at check-in they told us that we should stay at the Hotel Giorgi 3* about three blocks away. It seems that they are from the same group. Well, the Hotel Giorgi is located on the 1st floor of a building, where each floor belongs to a different hotel, and there they accommodate us…on the 3rd floor which “does not belong” to any hotel, without reception and without services in room as a minibar, which we did have in the reservation. Cleanliness is conspicuous by its absence and the maintenance of the hotel…better to see the photos. They have never cleaned the air conditioning filter in their life, it drips and as a patch they throw two towels at you to absorb the moisture. The tile joints have also not been cleaned since the hotel was built. Total disappointment with the reservation in this group.

I reserved 4 nights for a double bed room with breakfast, and at the moment I arrived at the hotel I was informed the breakfast would be just a cup of coffee and one croissant for each person. I paid for a full continental breakfast but received basically nothing. They told it was due to covid, but when you book something there they say they serve a full breakfast. Worst experience possible ever.

I liked the location of this hotel close to taxis and the airport bus which stops beside the train station. You should get on the airport bus at Ciampino Airport which goes direct to Termini train station and get off the bus and walk for 3 minutes to reach this hotel. Cross the road and walk down the street with the large church and the hotel is around the corner.
