We were met at the apartment by Marco and Giada who were very warm friendly and helpful. Marco showed us on one of the complimentary maps where all of the main sightseeing places were. They also left a sheet with their telephone numbers on. We were asked to pay the balance via card then the 30 euros for the cleaning and 3.50 euros per person per night city tax in cash. The apartment itself is in the perfect location if you like walking as you can walk to the coliseum within 15 minutes, the Vatican is around 25 minutes walk, the Spanish steps are about 20 minutes walk away and the Trevi fountain is around 15 minutes walk away. It is right next to the Trevi fountain and only 20-25 minutes walk away from the nearest metro station. There are also good taxi and bus links. The apartment itself is very very nice and ideal for a family of 4 although there are a few steps leading up to the apartment so could prove difficult with less able people or pushchairs etc.. The apartment has very high impressive wooden ceilings and is fitted out with 2 queen sized beds, a tv, an iPod docking station/cd player/radio, microwave oven, air conditioning, expresso maker, a dining area, kettle, safe, kitchen area, nice bathroom with luxury shower with lights and music. I thought a very very nice touch was to leave us a bottle of chianti with 2 glasses as a welcome along with orange juice and bottled water in the fridge and a packet of chocolate biscuits. Considering it's in such a lively part of Rome, it's very very quiet and a great place to chillax after a long day of sight seeing. I cannot fault this place or the owners & their warm welcome and attention to detail and even though it's not the cheapest, for what you get, it's exceptional value for money and worth every penny. If you are fit and able bodied and fancy a walk around Rome, do yourself a favour and book this apartment today.

The apartment is very large, well furnished with kitchen corner, 2 queen size beds, wonderful bath room with modern shower and bright light. It is in an old palazzo with thick walls, you look into an inside court. This is why it is very quiet, but in the center of Rome, some steps from the Pantheon. Supermarket, restaurants close by, bus 3 minutes walk, metro 10 - 15 minutes walk, taxis at the Pantheon. If you cannot climb stairs it is nothing for you, because it has no elevator and it is on the first level. You have to climb up a steep stair. Marco is very friendly and answers all your questions. You feel very well and safe in this apartment

I am not sure if the first guy who reviewed this hotel was referring to the correct Home Suite Rome as he mentioned breakfast being prepered by the hotel. First, it's not a hotel but an apartment. And breakfast is not being served. Anyways, this apartment is just literally a few steps away from Pantheon. We decided to wake up early one day to start our sight seeing early and we found ourselves almost alone outside Pantheon and had great photos. There are lots of restaurants and gelato shops nearby and a grocery store a few blocks away. As this is an apartment, you won't find any customer service, concierge or bellboy to carry your luggage or assist you with anything . It will be a challenge for elderly and ladies with big luggages to carry them upstairs. But other than this small issue, the apartment is fabulous. It has its own kitchen equipments and utensils. There is a dishwasher and just perfect for family of four. The location is one of the best reason why you should stay in this apartment. It is just right in the middle of everything. We just walked going to all the tourist areas like Vatican, spanish steps, Piazza Navona and the Colleseoum. My son is 8 years old and he never complained with all the walking. Although we usually take a cab going back to the apartment as I don't want to push him to his limits. The apartment is not really cheap but it's value for money I would say.
