Hotel Astoria Garden

We had a really good stay at Hotel Astoria Garden. The hotel is nice and clean, and the breakfast was good with a fine selection. We especially enjoyed the lovely courtyard, which was a cozy place to sit and relax after a day around Rome. The hotel is close to Termini (5 minutes on foot), which made it very easy and practical to get around Rome with both the metro and bus – and to and from the airport. Overall a really nice hotel, which we would like to recommend.

Very nice, newly renovated hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with our room, as there was an extremely unpleasant sewer smell there. That was not the case in the second room. The location is excellent for excursions, as all public transportation is in the immediate vicinity.

I highly recommend Hotel Astoria Garden. I am a frequent traveller to Rome, and this is my new favorite hotel. It is conveniently located near Termini train station (5 minute walk). It offers a peaceful and beautiful inner courtyard garden where you can enjoy breakfast or a drink and snacks from the bar. Our Aperol Spritzes were fabulous! Staff were very helpful in arranging an airport taxi for us and recommending a local restaurant where I had a delicious spaghetti con vongole (clams). The rooms were clean and comfortable WITH air conditioning. The bathroom was modern and spacious. I also appreciated the coffee machine in the lobby where I could get a quick cappuccino 24/7 - you never know when you need one! (I needed one at 6 am before departing for airport).
