Our family travels extensively and this summer we had the pleasure of spending time at Hotel d'Inghilterra in Rome. This hotel is absolutely amazing all around; I wish there were more than 5 stars I could add! Nothing could have been done better or more perfectly. From the concierge staff, led by the capable and experienced Mr. Massimo Mazzola, head concierge, and his team of Agustina, Francesca, plus the wonderful, warm and knowledgeable Xenia from guest relations, to the restaurant and lobby staff, and impeccable housekeeping, every single person exceeded our expectations in terms of their role capabilities, enthusiasm and kindness.
This hotel is located perfectly, 2 minutes from the Spanish steps, 3 minutes from the metro, and within the walking distance to all the main attractions. The penthouse suite, with an expansive terrace and incredible housekeeping is gorgeous, beautifully appointed, clean and with beautiful Roman touches.
The hotel went above and beyond our expectations in making our stay special every day with daily treats, beverages, monogramed pillow cases, and personalized baked goods. No detail was left unattended; this is an outstanding hotel experience. If you get a chance to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent location - quiet yet central. The room (only standard) was comfortable and stylish. The staff members were professional yet warm and friendly. Breakfast was beautifully presented with quality products. Rooftop aperitivo delightful. Will recommend and return.

We chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and first time in Rome based on its quality and location.
We booked through Hilton which offers upgrades based on availability. Instead of that being discussed at check-in they tried to sell us an upgrade. It was very strange to have the first conversation at check-in be a sales pitch. Especially without first discussing our room options.
We arrived early so we left our bags and went to our Vatican Tour. When we returned to check-in to our room they told us we didn’t have a reservation. Overall the check-in process was not the quality I would expect from a hotel of this type.
Once we were checked-in the room itself was perfect. They also gifted us a cake to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.
We were only able to take advantage of the breakfast one of our two days due to our Tour schedule but it was a great way to start the day.
If we return to Rome we would look to stay here again.
