Hotel dei Borgognoni

the hotel was very quiet no street noise at all. when we arrived to check in the gentleman that checked us in was not very welcoming he was quite abrupt. the other hotel staff were very good especially the guy doing breakfasts. the room was comfortable and the bathroom was good other areas of the hotel needed to be updated the carpet on the stairs was worn through in some parts. breakfast was the same every morning scrambled eggs offered no fried or boiled and only bacon and sausage some grilled tomatoes would have been nice the croissants were very nice. the latte coffee was not very hot at all. the lady that checked us out was very nice. there was a very good restaurant opposite the hotel food was excellent

My friend & I stayed for 4 nights this last week. Had a room overlooking the street. With the windows closed and the air con on could not hear a thing from outside, Air con was quiet. Room was a bit dated but very clean & comfy beds. Lovely shower & loads of hot water. Breakfast was great and service was excellent. Reception/ porter staff were great too. Would go back as ideally situated between Spanish steps & Trevi fountain under 5 mins to either. There is also a small terrace which we did use.

Every member of staff was professional, pleasant and helpful and made us feel very welcomed. The hotel is spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast and has a very relaxing environment. The location is perfect for many of the main attractions and within easy walking distance. A wonderful stay was enjoyed by our family. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Dei Borgognoni.
