Hotel Euro House Rome Airport

The hotel is clean and a 5 min drive from the Rome airport. They allowed us to checkin at noon, while the checkin time is only after 1pm. That was nice of them. We faced one major problem. A senior person in our family has trouble climbing stairs. So, we always look for accessible hotels. The site we booked the rooms on clearly mentioned the upper floors being accessible by elevator. But, the hotel does not allow anyone to use it. It is only for luggage. This caused us a lot of hassle. Worse still, they don't allow you to have food in the room. So, this person had to climb stairs for lunch and dinner as well. We booked an airport shuttle for 5am. The large van arrived on time. It was large enough to take the 5 of us along with 6 pieces of luggage. It cost 35 euros + a 10 euro night-surcharge. They accept credit cards for an additional 10% charge. Though the noise levels in the room were low, direct overhead flights were very loud. Their sound proofing, if they have any, isn't great.

Very poor experience. I booked this property through Agoda for one night and arrived at approximately 11:15 PM. When I arrived, reception was closed. A sign at the property said reception closed at 11 PM, but this check-in deadline was not clearly disclosed to me before booking. I tried to contact the property by phone and email but received no response at the time. I was left unable to check in and had to arrange alternative accommodation late at night. This caused a lot of stress and extra cost. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this property confirms the check-in deadline directly with the hotel before booking, especially if arriving late.

If you use the shuttle provided by the hotel (two people pay for 20 euros), it is OK, but if you use the local bus, please let us know the details of the route and how to use it.
