Hotel Gabriele

We stayed 4 adults from 17 to 21 March, we knew it was a one star hotel, but it does not comply with what it says, it has no reception 24 hours, rather at no time we saw anyone there, we demanded their assistance because the fridge did not work, there was a butt in the bathroom, only left us one towel per person... Nobody came there, good thing it was just to sleep.... The curtains half off the hook and not very clean. Only good location. I wouldn't come back.

Somewhere to sleep, and nothing else. Went there without checking reviews. The place is more like a hostel than a hotel. It's on the 4th floor, in an apartment converted into rooms. It's an old building and does not look very cosy. The bathroom was really bad, it was dirty and some of the installations were broken. The windows are not installed correctly which mean that you can hear the street noises when the window is closed just as loud as if the window was open. So if you're a light sleeper.. good luck. The quality of the rooms was not great. But it's good enough if you're just looking for a place to sleep. The staff was nice and frequently asked if everything was ok. The place is run by indians that were polite. The area is also fine. It's close to the central train station. There are restaurants in the area and bars. On our last night we went behind the building on the side closest to the station. At night there is unfortunately homeless people and drug addicts hanging out. But only on that side of the building. All in all, it was fine for a place to sleep. But I still doesn't find it cheap compared to the quality you're getting. I will properly not come back. I will say the staff tried their best with the means they had. We have take into account that this is a one ⭐ hotel

This hotel is located 2 mins away from the train station. It is very cheap therefore the services are not great. I dont understand people who pay £30 a night and expect Hilton standards... Anyway, the room was clean, and the showers and toilets were clean also. The staff was friendly however the breakfast was very stale, just pieces of bread and croissants.
