We enjoyed a very pleasant three‑night stay at Hotel S. Anna. The building is older, as you would expect in this historic area of Rome, but it has a charming, cozy feel with a lovely garden and sitting area that makes it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. There is a small elevator and a cute breakfast room that adds to the overall character of the hotel. Our room was a good size, with a door separating the entrance from the bedroom, a small balcony, and a spacious bathroom. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We were close to all the sights but still had a quiet, comfortable room. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They were always available to answer questions or offer suggestions, which made the experience even better. The location is excellent — perfect for walking to the Vatican, St. Peter’s Square, and many other major attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, making it easy to enjoy the neighbourhood. Would definitely recommend staying at Hotel S. Anna.

Staying at this hotel was a lovely experience for my mum and I. We got the twin room on the ground floor facing the main road. Initially I thought it would be noisy, but windows are sound proof and very little comes through. The building is a 16th century renovated vila that preserves most of the original features. Our room was big and tall with nice original features. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room was cleaned daily, we had nice and fresh towels everyday. The breakfast was not very rich in terms of choice (omelette, bacon, beans, cheese, cold cuts, yoghurt, cereals, some sponge cakes, breads) but enough. The location is great as it is super close to the Saint Peter’s Square, the Basilica, Castel San Angelo and a nice high street with shops and restaurants on Via Ottaviano. Would come back.
