In Rome B&B

very clean, beautiful and in a very good location.seems new, we stayed one night and we got a very good impresion. the stuff is very nice and ready to help. i stayed in lots of places but rarly seen a place that clean. definitely recommend

To start I want to say that the rooms and facilities were excellent clean and tidy! The location of the B&B is not bad (around 10 min walk away from the Colosseum), the place had good wifi, a kettle and a small fridge (which was a bit rubbish but was filled with free water everyday). The bathroom was clean and very useable, the bed was also pleasant and comfortable. What has unfortunately brought my experience of this place from a 5 to a 3 is the service. Firstly before arriving to the B&B me and my partner had a phone call from the owner (Johnny) confirming our arrival later that day. When we got to Rome and eventually found the place we were stuck outside ringing the door bell for a good 10 minutes. We were only eventually let in from another resident, who was luckily very kind and helpful taking us to the B&B in the building and staying with us until we were sorted. Upon arriving at the B&B there was no one there or at least no one who knew about us even being there! From broken conservations in Italian and English it turned out the house keeper had popped out and the cleaner didn't know what room to put us in. From travelling on the train from Naples and navigating the city to find the place this initial impact left a sour taste in our mouths, we felt very stressed and alarmed that no one knew we were meant to be there upon arrival! After sorting everything out and finally getting our room we actually experienced a lovely stay. We are only a bit let down by the fact that the person we spoke to on the phone (Johnny) who is the owner, we never met and never actually got any form of apology for the mix up at the start. Only did we get one when we ended up having to call him when we were checking out! Overall our stay was lovely, don't expect much for breakfast (we ended up buying some cereal from the shop next door). Again really nice place just a shame about the service we experienced!

When we first arrived Rome, we found the B&B a bit difficult to locate. Yet, after reaching it, we found it was in a very convient location . I especially wanna thank the staff ( or the owner?) . The always-smiling-lady who does not speak English , but she explained to us all the must-go-attreactions in Rome using the tourist map.
