La Voliera

It was amazing time spent in this B&B. It's not a traditional hotel but kind of apartment. Staff of this accommodation, Stephania, is very useful and positive. But before staying in property you should book time for check-in. Thanks for great time in Rome.

This is not a hotel. Although marked as a hybrid hotel/apartment and with hotel in the name, this is only a B&B. The listing is misleading in both accommodation type and what it includes. It says breakfast included, but a basket of bread products and jam that remained the same the entire four days we were there does not qualify as breakfast included. Between the uncomfortable beds, sheets only changed every 4 days, towels changed every 3 days, paper thin walls and inconsiderate neighbours, our stay at La Voliera was less than pleasurable. In addition, we paid to have air conditioning which was turned off each day for us to return to a scorching hot room after a day in 30 degree (Celsius) heat. I have never written a review about a place before, however I feel compelled to write one about this place because of it’s undesirable location (at least two buses and an hours distance each way) to the city centre and all the Rome attractions, and the undesirable accommodations. This place was not good.

The bed was not good but everything else was very good, breakfast had to be eaten in the room, seperate kitchen shared with another room, beautifull balkony top floor nice and sunny near to bus and trains from airport
