Le Petit Monterotondo

Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. There was a little bar fridge in the room to keep some food. Shower was clean and water warm but not much water pressure. However found some hair in the bed which we had to shake out, not a good look at all so cleanliness not the best. Also the room smelled of tobacco. Location was ok for us because we had a car but if on foot would be more difficult. We could drive to the train station, park there for free and the train takes 25 mins to Rome Tiburtina station. Service was good, a little hasty and brusque (but I think it is the Italian way of doing things). We got good information about how to get to the train station and what trains to take etc. So for the price we paid (€32 for 2 people per night) was good value but don't expect anything super clean or fancy.

The downside was that there was no shower curtain and the tv reception didnt always work. Thicker towels would also be better. But plenty of hot water and we didnt expect our room to be serviced after our first night :)

The hotel is very basis and is practically falling apart, pretty much everything was broken and NO HOT WATER to take a decent shower in the morning. Other places in the area are better value for money.
