Liliumhotel

An excellent find near the centre of Rome, everything is within a walkable distance. Our room was nice and very clean. The service we received from staff there was amazing especially Simona. Simona couldn’t do enough for us, she gave us advice on how to get to everywhere, suggested places to visit that we didn’t even have on our itinerary and even assisted me in tracking down my phone when I left it in a taxi. The breakfast was lovely with fresh juice served daily. The aircon was also powerful which is need for Rome in July 😂 We will definitely be visiting again!

Terrible experience. Room the size of a loculus, exposed on a cavedio with the smell of chimneys of restaurants on the street level. Electrical outlets not working. 1980s television- 6-inch-- not working. Peeled intanaco on the walls, if you touch it, it comes off. Foreign staff who do not.speak Italian. Not even the minibar in the room. Room 2 meters×4- not soundproof-you hear everything!! Blind bathroom- without window and with.folding wooden door that does not close for space reasons if you are at the toilet. Terrible experience.

My husband and I decided to begin and end our trip to Italy in Rome. We stayed three nights at the Lilium before going to Sicily. The hotel is a short and easy walk from the Rome termini. It was clean, comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning. It was quiet in our corner room, and we enjoyed opening the shutters to let in the early morning light. Revi and Simone gave us excellent recommendations on restaurants and coffee shops in the area, and they also called cabs for us as needed. There are markets nearby for snacks and beverages, and it is near bus lines. Highly recommend.
