Luciani

Location is the greatest thing with service as well. We had a nice time at Hotel Luciani, but we thought that the bedrooms could be better... Shower was really bad, just a bit of water running and very small... No different options at the breakfast too.. Just bread, butter and cereals to eat, no fruits and we missed it. The view from the room was terrible.. goes to a really bad space with pigeons and abandoned place.

I booked the room through Hotel Luciani's website directly (rather than through Booking.com or expedia) As I prefer for the hotels not to have to pay commission for this. We had the room booked since 01 January 2019. today 14 April 2019. we have been advised that our reservation has been cancelled. I queried this as it was a generic email. advising I have had the booking for this length of time, to then be told it was an apparent system error, and the room shouldn't have been booked. this is over 3months after the room was booked and 1 month prior to our arrival.. I booked this as part of quite a big trip from Australia, and now I have to try and find an alternative reasonably priced room in the location we needed....in short don't bother to book this on!!!

I went for a Business trip to Palermo, my first stop was Rome. I stayed in the past at this City, so I was not planning to stay too long. Hotel is nice, perfectly located just right 5 min walking from Roma Termini Train Station. It is little hide and if you don't have internet access go prepared with the walking indications. The place is clean and services very friendly, however, the rooms are not very like the ones on the pictures from their website, perhaps because it was only me. Despite that beds are comfy and you have all the essentials you need for a quick stay or a long stay but with the plan to spend most of the day out walking around the City. Usually, rates do not include a City Hospitality Fee, which as it was my understanding, it has to be paid in cash. In my case it was 3 Euro, so have some cash even if your room was already paid. Breakfast can be included, for those wondering the following: nop, nop, it is not Natural Orange Juice, however, it is good to have it each morning. Usually, breakfast was cheese, jam, bread, cereal, milk, coffee and juice. Which is enough to start the day. Because on how my travel was planning on my way to Palermo, I have to stay 3 times in this hotel... it was easy to access to the train station which means easy access to the airport and all City. On my last night before going back to Mexico, the room was so much nicer, right in front of the Train Terminal, however, I have to share the bathroom, I know is something really common but not really my style. Despite everything went so well!
