Obelus

Obelus is a good value for the location. The staff were very nice and were okay with late checking-in. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good as well as the cappuchino! Another big plus is that the Colosseum is on 15 min walk.mi There is a busy road nearby and if you sleep with open windows it may get a little noisy at night but it wasn't a problem for us.

This was my fourth stay at the Obelus and I thoroughly enjoyed it again. The room is small but comfortable and the breakfast room is very pleasant with lovely photos of Rome on the walls. The young lady who served breakfast (and delicious cappuccinos) was extremely kind and helpful, even printing our boarding passes at home because there was a problem with the printer. The location is perfect-just round the corner from the Scala Sancti and Lateran, and an easy walk to the colloseum, palatine and forum. There are lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. I can't wait to return.

Obelus is a good value for the location. They arranged a pickup at the airport which was extremely helpful as it isn’t the easiest location to find at night. The location is convenient to a metro stop and within walking distance of major sites in Rome. Our room was clean and the beds surprisingly comfortable. The shower was small with little more than a drip of water. Our room had a small balcony with two chairs but overlooked an inner courtyard and also served as utility storage. The breakfast was uninspiring and go old after the first day. Would we stay here again? Maybe if we couldn’t find other accommodations.
