great location and competitive price. the environment however seems very neglected. comfortable beds. sore notes, the first that we were handed the room at 16.00 and the second that the owner in the morning inadvertently entered the room with us still present in bed.

The owner is extremely unresponsive and rude. We arranged to meet at the hotel for check in at 5pm. We stood out on the street with our suitcases for 2 hours waiting for him. I repeatedly called and texted him on WhatsApp where it said he was "Online" the whole time and he did not respond. He finally sent one of his former employees to let us in and we learned that the owner went outside of Rome for lunch and probably had too much to drink to let us in. This is extremely unprofessional. He never apologized for what happened and how we wasted 2 hours of our one night stay there.

This is def a old charmer. Plenty of room, great customer service. And you are close to at least 3 major things to see and only a block away from the coliseum. Very reasonably priced compared to those in the area. And you def won’t go hungry. There is a restaurant about every other store front on the same street and their open late. Also their is a fridge in the room which was a big plus for us. We would def stay there again.
